Gallbladder Cleanse and Liver Cleanse Recipe

Gallbladder Cleanse - Many people opt to be proactive with their health when it comes to gallstones or bile stones.  Instead of waiting for health issues to arise then using expensive surgeries, it is believed this type of cleanse can help your body eliminate the stones while they are still tiny.

Bile stones and gallstones don't just appear out of the blue.  They begin as tiny, calcified deposits of bile liquids (also called digestive juices).  Left unattended, these become larger and can eventually block the bile ducts, trapping toxins and other debris in your gallbladder and/or liver.

It is believed in the holistic community that the right dietary practices (this includes supplements since they are often food-based), that these stones can be dissolved before it's too late.

But proceed with caution, as these can be harsh if you're not prepared.  Eat lightly and ease into this cleanse, or better yet, use a supplement to help your body dissolve them first, such as Stone Buster.

The gallbladder cleanse and the liver cleanse recipe are the same. They are both overnight flushes that are meant to help your body eliminate gall stones or stones from the liver.

It is best to eat only fruits and vegetables and plenty of organic, fresh apple juice for 2-4 days beforehand. Also do not over-eat or eat processed or junk foods for a couple days after to feel best.

These are the two most popular recipes included for educational purposes only. If you choose to try these or anything similar, you are doing so at your own risk.

Precautions

People seem to have problems with this flush for two reasons. One reason is they have never cleansed before. The body, including bile ducts and intestinal tract, is too blocked to use this cleanse. In my office, I have always found that if you cause the liver and gall bladder to open up and “dump” the waste, there better be a place for it to go.

Many people try to do this type of cleanse too often. This is a harsh recipe and trying to do it more than once every few weeks and even then more than a few times a year may be overly depleting for your body.

Gallbladder Cleanse/Liver Cleanse Recipe with Epsom Salt

Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) relaxes the muscles to allow bile from your liver and gall bladder to flow more freely. Olive oil causes the bile to start flowing.

  1. During the day: Prepare a mixture of 4 Tablespoons of Epsom salts with 3 Cups of drinking water and put in fridge (tastes better cold)
  2. Drink 3/4 cup of this mixture at 6 pm and again at 8 pm
  3. at 10 pm mix 1/2 Cup of Olive oil with 1/2 to 3/4 Cup of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice or lemon juice. Drink this straight down.
  4. Lie down immediately preferably on your right side to help the olive oil leave the stomach. If you can’t lie on your side, lie on your back with your head elevated.
  5. In the morning upon rising drink another 3/4 Cup of your Epsom salt mixture, and even another 2 hours later.
  6. You should have a soft bowel movement this morning passing more than what is normal.

Gallbladder Cleanse/Liver Cleanse Recipe with Coke

  3. Go straight to bed
  4. Upon rising drink 10 ounces of Citrate of Magnesium
  5. Wait for bowel movement.

If the olive oil makes you feel too nauseous, try drinking 2-3 Tablespoons of Aloe Vera juice right after.

Why the Gallbladder Cleanse/Liver Cleanse is Popular

It is believed by many that the average person doesn’t get these stones. This is because any symptoms must be severe so you actually see your doctor and tell them your symptoms.

At that point, a doctor may not diagnose until a stone is so large that it blocks the bile ducts or the passage of the liver or gall bladder where the bile is supposed to flow out of.

Bile is formed in the liver, which then moves to the gall bladder and through the intestines where it mixes with processed food and waste, then out of the body. If you wait until stones are formed, it may be too late and surgery could be required.

Conclusion

This flush works for many people.  Drinking epsom salt can be harsh and cause distressful reactions.  This is why some use coke (soda), instead.

Doctors claim there is no scientific evidence for this.  Advocates toute this flush as the best prevention for bile stones and painful surgery.
