Is a colon cleanse really necessary? Also known as a body cleanse, a colon cleanse program, may help you more than you think.
These days, with our technological advances and modern medicine, surely we don't need to help your bodies. Usually you find the same reasons to cleanse and they go something like this:
At first glance, it appears that all of the above are problems with the modern lifestyle and part of the normal aging process. In addition, many of us believe that colon cleansing isn’t necessary if one has regular bowel movements every day. I mean, if this is the case your system must be clear – right? Unfortunately this assumption is dead wrong.
First of all, it is the intestinal tract that really needs cleansing – not the colon. The colon just happens to be the final exit, to put it nicely. But then we assume there is nothing wrong in there since things seem to move regularly.
As I have repeated on so many pages before – you can compare this to your blood. Blood flows constantly through your body, yet people get a plaque buildup in their arteries anyway. Why did this happen? Because of unhealthy eating and chemical pollutants which causes sticky platelets to attach to arterial walls and build up over time.
If this can happen to your blood which never stops moving, why would you assume it couldn’t happen in the small intestine which only moves periodically? Modern medicine and technology do not guarantee that our bodies run efficiently just as it does not guarantee you will get all the nutrition your body needs. In fact, modern medicine and technology mainly helps us after we cause damage.
It is build up of waste and toxins that cause problems in our bodies. Poor digestion, sluggish metabolism, aging skin, weight gain, fat storage, premature aging, are all results of poor diet, waste, and environmental pollutants.
When your body cannot eliminate the toxins and waste that is created every day of your life – it can lead to cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, and toxemia. You become sluggish and old looking before your years. This is where a colon cleanse can help you.
It is important to help your body cleanse on a regular basis. Just as your body cannot create new, healthy cells with a doughnut, it cannot detoxify on a daily basis if the proper nutrition and compounds (like fiber and other supplements) are not consumed.
How do we know if we have toxins built up from years past? Go back to the “symptoms” from the first paragraph. Hopefully now you will see these are not the normal signs of modern living and aging. We can be young and healthy well into our golden years – this should be the norm. In fact, anti aging is not merely surgery and painful procedures or injections; it can be part of anyone's daily lifestyle.
