I prefer to soak my almonds or walnuts starting a day ahead for almonds and a few hours for walnuts. This allows for better digestion and a tender consistency.
1 Cup fresh cilantro leaves
1 clove of garlic
1/2 Cup of almonds or walnuts
Flaxseed or olive oil
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Use salt to taste. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil at a time until desired consistency.
You can add this to your fish dish, pasta or use as a spread or dip.
