Fresh fruit juice recipes are excellent for cleansing. Fruits are considered nature’s cleanser and they are full of fresh, natural vitamin water. Fruit juices are both cleansing and anti-aging.
It is important to drink plenty of fresh water each day. You can include fresh fruit juice to help flush away the toxins as they are being released during your colon cleanse program. Here are some juices that are excellent alone.
Citrus Juice:
One of the most basic ways to benefit from fresh juice is to squeeze lemon or lime into your water. The citrus is very beneficial for flushing the lymphatic system, which carries toxins from your body and carries your immune cells to all parts of your body. Citrus also breaks up congestion and blockages of toxins throughout the body.
Grapefruit Juice:
Grapefruits are packed full of age-fighting antioxidants including glutathione. Again, this citrus fruit assists your body to help flush your lymphatic system. This is good to drink alone or every day. The fiber in grapefruit is unique in that it helps reduce the bad cholesterol throughout your body. I find it to be an excellent diuretic with 6 ounces, 2-3 times a day.
Grapes:
Dark purple and red grapes and their juices are most powerful. They are full of antioxidants that also seem to help clear plaque from the arteries.
Pomegranate Juice:
Pomegranate juice is high in anti-oxidants. Research has shown that drinking a cup of pomegranate juice a day can help clear plaque from the arteries.
